PRS&W Inc. staff are adept at characterizing soil
attributes that affect septic system
design, including determining soil texture and structure, and
interpreting soil characteristics that indicate depth to a seasonal
water table or hydrologic conditions that limit drainage and treatment
potential.
PRS&W Inc. soil scientists are regularly invited to present soils workshops at the Washington Onsite Sewage Association (WOSSA) annual meetings as well as at continuing education workshops for WA state licensed onsite septic system designers. These workshops ensure that the designers have a good understanding of how soil morphology develops in response to long-duration seasonal water tables, thereby increasing design quality and protecting the consumer.
